Hey, I am wireing in 4 new lights two 130 watt and two 55 watt and I have a aftermarket radio im puitting in, I was wondering what would be a good larger capacity altenator for it? I have a 1969 800a Scout with a 304 v8. It would be best if I could do it without changing much like just a simple swap, any ideas?

You could run what you described with your current alternator which is 61amps. Upgrading amps with out the proper wiring is dangerous as it could start a fire and will fry you volt/amp meter as it is only designed for the stock amp size.
I suggest you get the alternator upgrade kit from madelectrical And then you can install up to a 94amp. Just a couple simple electrical hook ups and you done.
