I've just inherited a '73 1210 camper special that is in fantastic original and and complete condition. It's a 392 auto, ac, ps, pb everything works and it has 106k original miles. Even the original am is there with the factory manual. But the truck has sat outside and not run for 20 years. It has some serious rust issues with the cab.
Then there is my longtime driver a '71 t'ette 5 sp with a 345 that has a blown head gasket and ate a cam bearing a long time ago.
So the decision is part the '73 or not. The t'ette could use the windshield, engine, ps box, and bed from the '73. The ac from the '73 would be nice too, but swapping the dash looks like a chore.
