Mystery part???

Ok after a short delay I just about have this 392 back to gether. I cleaned up all my parts and I have one that I cant remember where it goes. Must have been realy obvious when I took it off bc I made no note of it. Can anyone identify this bracket???

That looks like a belt or flywheel shield from a lawnmower engine.
