Mobil 1 15w50

I'm running this in my 152. I anyone else running the racing oil? I talked with mobil and this is what they suggested. They don't recommend adding zddp to their oil and they told me that the 15w50 in addition to racing is for older flat tappet engines. Comments???

Rob,

running mobil 1 15w50 is your call and of the person who recommended it to you. If you have been reading the posts about "sm" oils, you might not have made that choice, but then again, some people prefer using mobil (semi)-synthetic oils over mineral (dino) oils.

I have been using m1 15/50 in my vw bug for years. I have not had any problems. I don't run it in my Scout because I'm cheap:d:d
