May need to sell my scout

I have a 1973 Scout that I just don't have the time and money for, so I am throwing it out there to see what kind of interest there May be for it.

1973 Scout II
345 4 speed manual
4x4

it ran good before the tags expired (thanks to the dmv) but has not been driven for about ten years now. I did recently start it and roll it back and forth under its own power but thats about all I could do since the brakes don't work.
Rite now the brakes don't work. I think it is from sitting because before I parked it I put in a new master cylinder and had no trouble with them. Most of the gages don't work. I have a kwikwire 14 circuit vehicle wiring kit (from IH only) that was supposed to make it in but is still new in the box.
A friend was supposed to come over and give me a hand re wiring the Scout but he only pulled some of the wiring out, the light lenses off then never came back.
I don't really want to sell but I also don't have the time to do what needs to be done. The engine runs and I have started it recently by pulling of the fuel line and dropping it in a gas can.

So I am looking for a guide from some of the more experienced people here to tell me what it May be worth. I'm guessing $1200. Let me know if I am in the ballpark or just throw me an offer if you are interested.

I am in sacramento CA. Reply to this thread if you want further contact information.

Looks like I am going to have to move. Things are happening fast so make me a fair offer and I will likely say yes.

In Auburn, CA do you have title????

We have a rusted out 78, thinking about our options....call my office # and I'll get by to look at it. I'm in roseville daytime.

Some questions I have been asked.

Yes it is still for sale.
Also do I have the title. Unfortunately while packing for moving I have not found that. I called the dmv to see if there is anything owed and they have no record of it. The vin# is not in their system. The good news on that is there is no back fees. The bad is that to get it registered now you have to take it to your local dmv so they can make sure everything works, lights, blinkers, hazards, and such. I can give a bill of sale but that's about it.

As I will be moving very soon I am willing to take almost any offer. I have had calls asking me if I will part out but I don't have the time. If you would like to have this Scout you have to take the whole thing. All four tires need to be replaced, and one will no longer hold air. In it's current condition you would need to trailer it out. I can help with that if I get notice, and it is local. Also I have the back seat in good/decant condition. Let me know if you have any other questions. So far I have not posted this anywhere else since I would like to see it go to an I.h. Enthusiast. But my time is becoming very short and if I don't hear anything soon I will have to list it everywhere I can.

My number is
916-213-9601.

If I am at work I will not be able to take calls but leave a message and I will get back to you in the evening.

What engine do you have in it and how many miles are on it? Is the manual tranny a 3 or 4 speed and does it have a low granny 1st gear or normal?
