March 1 - Trail Ride Report.

We all made it home in one piece -- some with more body damage than other.
I would give the run a 'b' - we hit way more snow than we would have liked and a few of the trails we wanted to hit were 'closed' for repairs.

Dan j. And his brother in-law in lil' white, terry and jennifer in the girl Scout, Mike and carl in the uber Scout, and myself in ugly Scout made up the motely crew of wheelers.

We hit the following trails in this order, plus everywhere we drove had a fair amount of snow some some of the 'easy' gravel roads made for some good snow wheeling:
*back to back (we took a wrong turn and ended up running part of this trail)
*hoodraiser (easy)
*hogs back (fun lil' climb at the beginning when heavy snow/tight trees the rest of the way)
*7-up the backside only. (we tried to make it up the diffucult backside option but were turned away by deep snow)
*airplane hill (we made it to the start in heavy snow, but the trail was closed)
*saddle up (fun hammer down up hill in lots of snow)
*the crushers (we did the upper loop - good times!!!)
*firebreak 5 (we only ran part of it, then headed for the trailers as the sun went down, and the fog/clouds moved in)

Waitin! sounds like ya'll had fun. Wish I got to go up, but my Scout woulda been more trouble as it is still stock... had the speedo brake on the way back into town though. will be checkin back in for the pics.

Here are a few of mine just to get started. It was a great trip. No major braeakage, only one tire rolled off the bead and some new dents.... the ntgs worked like a charm... also I have dubded dan j's Scout "lil casper"...

I ran out of hard drive space on my computer :doh: -- so things are taking a touch longer than normal....

Me stuck, almost to the top of 7-up. I was winching with a snatch block and still not making progress in 4+ feet of snow...

It is hard to see -- but there is blue paint from my truck on Mike's truck -- I rubbed it onto the tree, he rubbed it off the tree. :d

Dan was the only rig who didn't have to winch through the entrance. He just had to winch a little later!

And jenn just couldn't let the day pass without a trail side fix...or hill side fix in this case!

This is the first wheeling I'v done in over a year. I had an absolutely great time! Thank you all for dragging me along, and thank you Mike for putting up with me!

I copied and pasted the image path to my browser addresss bar and I can view the images. Still no images in your post.

May be a blocking deal of some sort based on your ucp setings?

As most have already said the run was awesome, great time, great people and sweet trails. And since I left my video camera and my digital camera at home charging, I wont be sharing any killer photos or vid from the run. But I do have some aftermath carnage pics from my rig.

We definatlly need to do it again soon, as I feel like im just getting closer and finding out more and more things about you guys. For instance, I got to hold jen's nuts, I found out terry "can go both ways" , mikes is "just a few more inches bigger than mine is" and the crushers are mean.

anyone have a 800 pass door they dont need

I am using google's picasa, so I'll have to check. I am not sure of the best way to link them from the web album. The album is set to "public" so I was guess this would work. I'll try them again tonight sometime.

Don't tell me you haven't heard of "casper the friendly ghost"? Oh come on how old are you? Google it!! up untill yesterday your rig was all white and "ghost" like. Now it has some bark color on it... the "lil" just because it is a baby Scout. But I think maybe just "casper" will work. Ya that's it "casper" it is.

I did the same thing a Robert did. Then when I went back to this forum page and did a "right click, show pic", the pic would show up. Not sure how.
