Guys,
I've parted out a 1966 800 for my 1969 2wd rhd project, so I didn't need a lot of the drive train and some body parts.

My add is on craigslist:

International Scout 800 various parts

Prices below are ballpark estimates that I've tried to gather based on other similar items I've seen for sale. Trying to move some of these items to put toward the body work and paint job.

Thanks all.

drive shaft $50
front 4x4 axle w/ warn hubs $250

I didn't notice steering wheel or horn button assy listed.

You, by chance. Have an extra horn button assy (all the parts including spring down to the nut/steering wheel?

I am, actually, looking for that assy off a Scout 800, but the parts manuals say everything but the very top part is the same between Scout 80, Scout 800, Scout a and Scout b.

Thanks.

I do have an extra wheel, but not the horn assembly or button. Actually I just took mine apart and my center cap/button crumbled apart in my hand like like dust.

Hi sloantx,

yours is an interesting comment, which seems to be a common one about Scout 80/900 horn button caps and keepers. It appears that with time, these parts have become fairly brittle/degraded, so taking them off/apart is risky business.

The Scout 800a and bs have different wheels, caps, and assys

have had a couple of opportunites at nos parts, but haven't gotten anything yet.

Am thinking, maybe I should design up a replacement horn button with an IH logo for folks in our situation.

Thanks for responding.

Good luck and steady winds,
