First off, I'd like to say, hello!! (I'm new)

so, its gotten to the point in my partial restoration where I have come upon the topic of painting my Scout. I have seen many scouts and being honest I envy all of you who have great paint jobs! I'd like to join the club of "my Scout looks good" but I'm on an extremely tight budget. (being 16 my parents refuse to pay for a pro paint job and my grandpa is done helping to fund the Scout project he has funded literally everything thus far). I stumbled (literally) onto this article: (scroll down a bit to a guy with an orange challenger, he tells what he did)

moparts: paint job on a budget!?

And I was wondering if anyone here has tried it, and what their opinion of it was. As a forewarning, I am 16 and I have a lot to learn, but I have a full shop available to me with just about everything in it. I'd love input on what I should do. Below is a picture of my Scout, I'd like to paint it white (winter white or bright white) please pardon the bad quality of image, they'll be replaced soon.
