Lubing cables?

So I want the cables for my s80 that work everything in the engine compartment to work better, what's a good way to lube them up? And what should I use? Thanks

The best way to lube those is with a spray penetrating lube like lps #2. Spray the outside and it will make it into the middle through the outer spiral cover. After it dries you can wipe it down or leave it.
