I was towing a moderately heavy bbq trailer for the fire department, dropped it off and on the way back home I stopped for gas and the travelette was only running on 6. Pulled the plugs and #1 was wet. Checked the compression and none, zero compression. Put some air pressure down the spark plug hole and air blew out of #3 hole.
Of course murphy is alive and well because I had the top to the Scout stripped down for rust and broken corners around the rear hatch repairs. Put the Scout project into overdrive and just got the repainted top back on it today, just in time for the rain.
Perhaps I need another vehicle as a back up for the backup.
and now I've got a nice winter project ahead of me.
