Be glad to take a look at that for you wes. Those chrysler rear ends are notorious for eating carrier bearings. I even stock a bearing kit for that rear end and the 9 1/4 because of how many we rebuild. Please call at your convenience to set up an appointment.

Restoration of my 1979 Traveler

I have a 1979 traveler with basically stock height and 345 engine. If I need to restore it to nice condition for daily drive to work and back (mostly highway), do you have an idea what kind of budget I need to set aside?

That's a tough question to answer. Price to restore depends on what your definition of a restoration is and the overall condition of the vehicle to be restored. Some define a restoration as a paint job, some engine gaskets and a fresh set of seat covers while others view it as taking the body off the frame and restoring every part and component back to factory specifications. If you would like feel free to call as I can shoot some ball park figures at you after you describe to me what you are wanting and what condition your vehicle is in.
