locking hub bearing

He locking hubs are from a 75 d44 front 27 spline

the bearing inside the "basket" (it holds a gear that goes over the axel shaft) fell apart

does anyone know if this can be replaced or am I better of getting new warn locking hubs?

I have been looking all day for this bearing with no luck-

it's hard to believe that these parts (I know they are old) are not rebuildable

It looks like there are numbers on it. You could try a bearing store. We have bearing belt and chain here. Just a thought. On the other hand, new hubs are shinny! And you'd have one good spare!

Hahaha looks like that is the way- like I said hard to believe that this is just disposable

and I called a couple of bearing companies and ......

I 'think' I got some new ones from warn about 10 years go :d

they were not bearing though but some high tech polymer replacement dealio....

I had to call tech support and wait on hold for a while then talk to an engineer who knew what I was talking about, he just dropped a couple in the mail for me and called it even. But this was 10 years ago.
