Little bragging.....

Thought I would just drop a little note here. Show off my new 'internship', aka. Working my ass off for free. I have good feelings that it will pay off in the end. I am the main fabricator and car prep tech for the #1242 vest racing pro truck. So far I have been helping re-assemble the truck from being prepped and also welding a lot of cracks, holes, and new bracketry.

I'm driving a chase truck all the way to vegas for the mint 400 at the end of the month. If this pans out, it could be the dream job of a lifetime for me. Wish me luck!

Dang dan, goes from rippin houses out to fab shop!:dita: good luck on the job, and hope it pans out, so you can sell the dodge and finally get a travelette tow rig!:winky:

Oh ya, that's right! Weren't we gonna schedule a 1 on 1 between my Scout and the dodge right behind the b pillar?:dita: so does this mean that my drag link might get done, since you have access to such nice equipment! :winky:

How the hell did that thing get a hole like that in it? And what's with all the rust inside the tube? Is it part IH?....:dita:

The jack mount tore off on the first lap and then it rained the rest of the race. So, if somebody wa so inclined, you could follow the race course in parker az and find a $500+ all aluminum race jack.

Wow, big congrats dan!! It's worth bragging and I am hoping it all pans out for you. Honestly I think you were put on this earth for a job like that. Little sleep, rockstar fueled trips with off road rigs just seems to be your niche in life. Go with it while you can, and when you do make it big, don't forget the little people!

Best of luck man!

Thanks carl. I knew all those years of living the way I do was just training for my calling in life.

When we step up to a trophy truck, I'll be sure we do lots of testing at sand lake so everyone can come watch.

I'll try and take lots of pics from the mint400. If we do well, I'll do well.
