Lift questions for a Factory 80

I have a factory setup on my '63 Scout 80.
The tires are upgraded to 31/10.5/15's
I want to lift it up a bit without killing my power and drive

its running the 152 and I believe I have the Dana 27s

my original idea is to put a long add-a-leaf to each spring and also add a 5"-6" shackle to each.

Tell me what you think.
This will not be an off-road machine. It will be a street driver and probably some trail driving.

A two inch body lift will raise your truck a lot as your old rubber body mounts have collapsed over the years. That May be enough by itself.

Jeff has a kit.

You should be fine with an add-a-leaf and replacing your body mounts. Shackle wise I would not go any more than 6". I drove my 152 and 33's and 3.73 gear ratio and it was ok for short jaunts. What gears do you have in the 27's? My 27's were 4.27 and it seemed pretty good with 30" tires.

I just purchased it a few weeks ago. I have not gotten too far into the drive train etc. I am posting a new question to see why it is running like sh*%.
I have a stock setup with 31's
