Kwikwire 14 circuit and the Scout 2 rewire.

So.. The Scout is about 90% wired... Properly...

I have a couple of questions of people who have done the 14 circuit kwikwire harness on a Scout 2 before.

1. Easiest way (besides running them along the floor) to run the backup lights, brake lights, turn signals to the back of the truck. It looks like the original wires go through the frame.

2. Easiest way to get the wiper motor hooked up (besides through giant rust holes. Believe it or not, there are few of us who have good windhshield frames :cornut: )

3. Solution for wiring in the marker lights to the park lights.

If you haven't removed the original wires from the frame you can use those to pull the new wires back. Otherwise, use a fishtape to pull the wires down the inside of the frame channel.

I'm really glad I read that before starting anything. It's such an obvious solution but it never would have occured to me. Thanks!

I ended up just running them along the frame and loomed them. I didnt feel like sticking those things through that nasty frame with tons of eugene clay in it.

I did mine along the frame too (the floor pan pinch weld actually). Seemed to be a shorter route. I made all of my left and right side light connections in the left tail light bucket. Easier to work standing up. Then continued the loom to the right side.
