Key tumbler gear?

Hello, getting all my stuff together to get the blinkers and ignition back to stock here and have a broken gear that the tumbler turns to move the shaft for my ignition switch. Called my local chevrolet and ordered one from a late 70's truck with a fixed column. Do you all think this will work or should I call Ford or dodge. Haha. I figured since my new tumbler was GM the gear should be fine.

Dang, thanks Jeff. I looked on the web page but only saw the tumbler, I get a little impatient sometimes trying to find things. Gonna place an order today and cancel my order with chevrolet.

And I did not see that michael. Thanks. I thought I look at all the threads before asking. I do not like to ask things that have been beatin over and over again to death.

On the plus side. The the wiring is all in order now. Just have to get the stearing column back together with the new signal cam and tumbler. Lights all work minus a few bulbs and lenses. Getting brakes all new to get me stopping(will try to get disc down the road). So just maybe I will see you all on the road or trails soon.
