July ? - IH work Day

Ok - being asked about it recently, it's been awhile since I scheduled up a work day. And I will have more than enough time during the entire month of July to have multiple work days.

For those of you who do not know, I currently rent out 2,600 sqr foot shop space to wrench on my own scouts. We have had several work days here in my man cave already with a fair turn out. Here is what I have available for time frames and I am open for any of these dates.

6-29-12 through 7-8-12
This whole week I am off work from my full time job, and nothing planed as of yet. Although I May have one project coming up for a non IH rig, but nothing is confirmed yet

7-13-12 through 7-15-12
My normal three day weekend. Nothing planed yet.

7-20-12 through 8-5-12
Two weeks off work due to annual summer production shut down.

Again, I am open to any of these dates for a full fledged work day/days. So, if any of ya have some major work to be done on your IH vehicle, lets get busy and get the wheels rollen. There has been talk of roll cages, by several members - I have a tube bender , with 1-1/2" and 1-3/4" dies. I May remodel the one in my own beast that one of the previous owners had installed.

RTI ramp? Mobile bbq? Combination of the two? We have discussed it, along with a few other projects.

Post up for when you folks want to make it happen. For those of you who don't have the address of my cave, check out my other work day threads. Or send me a pm.

I am intrested in the head swap we talked about . I have to see if I have funding . There is the poker run at hollister 6/22 also .

btw - your rig wasn't the non IH vehicle I was referring to. A co-worker has a 92? I think. And his brother fliped it and almost shot the rear body mount spacers/bushings up through the bed

I'm here all week(end). I should have this dodge what mini van finished up by the end of the day. But I have plenty of room for IH work days. By the weekend most all should be recovering from the red, white, and blues of independance day.

Joe? You ready yet? There's plenty of time between now and the poker run you have plans for.

I haven't seen or heard from doc stewert, but I recall that he wanted some reinforcement welding done on his Scout.

in my first post, I posted up what dates I am available. Any time during those dates I will make my shop space available for any IH work or planning.

Since I have two webber grills and one smoker unit we can do grilling through out the day. So let's make it happen captain

Yup. I'll be here. I'm ussually here in the shop fairly early in the morning. All the dates that I posted in my first thread is when I will be here in my shop space 90% of my spare time.

So far, during this last week, on my time off from work, I have been doing a little work here and there on my 73 beast. Finally had a chance to cut up the rust bucket of a roof, that was literally falling apart. I do have a spare roof that needs some tlc that I will be using. And replaced both door hinges in driver's door, along with replacing the window cranked regulator with power window regulator unit. Started to replace the cranked window regulator on passenger side only to come to find out that one of the window tracks is rusted out enough to where I'm looking for a new one, or at least a decent used one.
 
Ok boys and girls - a slight change of plans. What was a planned two weeks off from work, starting next week has turned into a one week off instead. Just got word that I'm working most all of next week. But as for now I'm off work the following week.

I will be here in the shop space all weekend though. Friday the 20th, Saturday the 21st, and Sunday the 22nd. For those who May have plans to come down, I will be here those 3 days.
 
Well scooter you know my story I just May need all those days to get my girl up and running again. Danny says he can bring my new 304 next Thursday the 26th. Do you think I should try to coordinate with him to take it directly to your shop?
 
Already a step ahead of ya. I already suggested to Danny in email that Friday, Saturday or Sunday would be better for me for bringing the motor down to my shop space. And at some point you can bring your Scout here too. Although, Saturday the 28th the is a bbq/planning session in the works at my space too. That might be a good day too
