Happy New Year, 7 o'clock at The Smokin Pig 3340 Mowry Ave Fremont Ca. 94538. We need to talk about Hollister. March 29,30 and 31st.
 
Not sure if I can make the meeting. But will try.

Although, I do know that I won't be around in March.I will be gone on vacation for 4 weeks in March.
 
I’ll have to finish up the brakes on my Scout so I can drive it to the meeting on Tuesday. I’m also definitely down for the Hollister trip. :cornut:
 
I'm down for Hollister. Mrs. Moose says she'll come if I rent a trailer. Ha ha.
I may also be bringing a guest with a Chevy Avalanch.
 
I would love to attend next meeting. I just bought a 75 Scout 2 and have know idea what I’m doing. Anybody live close to San Ramon and have local recommendations(reupholster, paint, etc.)?

I've heard good things about King Covers (Kovers?) here in Fremont for upholstery. As for paint, I'd look somewhere outside the Bay Area. Bay Area Air Quality Management rules only let them use non-VOC paints. Which are crap.

King covers did the headliner in my old 84 Suburban, and they did a real nice job. I removed the headliner and took it in. Wasn't cheap, but you usually get what you pay for.
