Well "earl" has landed. After an 8hr drive home from prairie city he now rests at ihcs. I should note that the drive over only took 4 1/2 hours..:icon_xd:
but in true International form he made it 277 miles home without missing a beat. I did find out he has a 5spd. But even so his top speed was about 52 mph. Once on a down hill I did see 57 on the gps..:ihih: so I need to figure out what I'm going to do with the rearend gears. Here are some more pics.

We did this alot.:cornut:

Your truck looks awfully nice. It won't take much to make that truck like new.

The top speed sounds about right.

My '51 l-170 motors along right nicely at 50 mph. At 55 mph the steering and brakes get a little scary.

I like the mirrors on your truck--not! My truck came with updated mirrors. It is so nice to have something larger than a peephole to see what is behind you.

Great truck!! Only you would jump into a rig that has been sitting for how long???, fire it up and drive it home without missing a beat.

Will we see it in the parade this Saturday?
