The most recent copy, May 2014, of "four wheeler" magazine featured a '57 s120 4x4 Travelall. Lot of facts and details of the vehicle's drive train. One point was that were only two axle rations a 4.57:1 and a 4.11:1 in the short run of s120s 4x4 travelalls.
I have now had two '56 s120s and both had/have 3.73:1 axle ratios? The axles are original and ratios were marked on the differential. I have also had the axles apart on both vehicles and have counted the teeth. All are 3.73:1 ratios!
Anyone have different information about these vehicles?
