It's hollister time. Once again we will be sharing area 5 with the gang from dysfunctional off road. As always babs will be doing are chillie cheese hot dog lunch. Dinner will not be provided this year you will have to plan on bringing dinner with you. As in the past the cost for the full weekend $25.00 - 1 truck 1 - camp site. Each additional adult $ 5.00 kids no charge. Please if you plan to join us post up so we can get a solid count on how much food to buy.
 
You know I'll be there! :cornut: my nephew's birthday is the weekend before, so I'm going to try to bring him out. Maybe a few other family members too (I'll post up once I know for sure).
 
I'll be there. Plan on showing up pretty early on Friday. It's not supposed to rain very much this week, and weekend is supposed to be sunny. Just installed some new polyurethane motor mounts, the cheap anchor foam rubber made in india mounts kept separating. Unfortunately the new mounts are 1/4" thicker which lifted the engine, so used some spacers to raise the tranny mount 1/4" as well, which put the front twin stick against the hole in the floor. So did a 1/2" body lift to fix that and get the fan back centered in the shroud.

Much as I'd like to be there this weekend, austerity forces me to stay home. Bummer!

One guest, big Mike with his Jeep strappy. We saw Joe at the truck fest, and he's going to try and make it as well, at least on Saturday. Bring firewood, preferably dry.
 
So far the plan is for my nephew and one (or possibly two) of my cousins to roll out there with me. We should be getting there around 4pm on Friday. Justin and lorena will also be bringing there jeeps out again, they'll probably beat me there. Also, 2 or 3 of my buddies are planning on coming out Saturday morning and camping till Sunday. So we're looking at a grand total of 8 or 9 including me. Jayson left earlier today and is already out there. So post up the gate code once we get it so I can relay it to justin/lorena. It's looking like it's guna be an awesome weekend!!! :icon_up: :icon_mrgreen:
 
Doors are off, top is off, spare tire carrier is on. I'll be there Saturday morning.
Do I need any extra detection to find area 5 or is it just easy to find?
 
I had a great time this year! The weather was awesome! There wasn't much dust and lots of mud puddles! I drove down Friday morning with Craig and Craig (r290 and cheese)

You May have seen this rig at the IH rally last year. He broke a suspension link, see yellow circles. Also destroyed the front drive shaft in the process. Craig helped him fix it and made it back to camp before dark.
