It was twelve years ago, on a crisp spring morning, that dawn broke over the very first annual ihwr gathering at tulare, California. That special day marked the beginning of a long standing relationship between the ag center and the western regional’s which has over the years born witness to some great moments with lots of camaraderie, truck appreciation, events, raffles and just plain fun being had by International Harvester enthusiasts of all stripes. And, let’s not forget the amazing ice cream social graciously provided by doc stewart.
This is the last year we are planning to hold this great event at this location and this year promises to be no less filled with excitement than it has known for over the past decade. Western regional’s is holding this, last of its kind, one day event, on Saturday, April 19th, 2008. Overnight camping will be provided as usual. We’re having a pot luck dinner on Saturday night, so everybody bring a little something on the side and tri-tip sandwiches are on us.
All are invited to share a day of fun and friendship with those that love the International Harvester badge and see some of the best vehicles that ever helped build a nation. This show is “free” to all attendees and their International vehicles. Please take the time to fill out the pre registration form which can be found here and return it to the western regional’s committee so you can reserve your event t-shirt. So come one, come all to the International Harvester western regional’s at the ag center in tulare, California and let’s make this the biggest and best show we’ve ever seen.
