Hylomar - which brand?

Hylomar hpf was the original. It changed to hylomar advanced formula. The permatex hylomar is now actually hylomar m (the stuff on that ebay link). Hylomar m is more adhesive and is used by nascar.
 
We used the permatex hylomar on aircraft but we can't get it here in kalifornia. We tried an off brand that I can't remember what it was. It didn't work very well because the solvent in it flashed off too quick and left a goo that wasn't spreadable.
