I talked to you about replacement hubs for the d44 since mine seems to keep making noise possibly allowing the race to spin... I was just wondering would it be more sensible to swap them out for whatever allows us to switch to the internal splined locking hubs? I am not sure what all is required but would it be cost effective or should I just repair what I have for now and swapped the whole axle out later if I get to build it up for 35's.

To switch to internal locking hubs bascially a GM brake set-up needs to be installed using Ford rotors to keep the wheel bolt pattern the same. We can assemble a kit for you but I know it is upwards of $800. If your only problem is a hub then replace just that as it will be more cost effective.
