Hi,
not sure what category this question belongs in. But this is the first of many questions I'm sure I'll have on understanding the LST.
My LST shows I have rear axle # 14025 and the rear springs with aux as 03210. And on the next line the LST shows 803220 as the "spec rear spring".
But the attached mt-112 parts manual pdf page shows the fig. No. 03-21 as the rear suspension for this axle with springs 03210. However it also shows 03220 (which I assume is the same as LST spec 803220) as fig. No. 03-43. And the mt-112 manual shows a different axle corresponding to this fig. So which fig. No. Is correct for my truck?
The picture in the mt-112 they use for each fig. Is the same, but some of the part numbers are different. The picture is the standard set of leaf springs with a set of auxiliary leaf springs stacked on top. Perhaps the LST is trying to say my truck uses the heavier axle's suspension auxiliary leaf pack but with my axle's lighter suspension leaf pack, or perhaps the other way around?
I'm just not sure. Your help in clearing this confusion is appreciated.
Also I assume fig. No's 03-76 and 03-78 have nothing to do with my truck?
