Horn Relay - Full Size

Curious question -- where is the horn relay on a full size (73 t/a)?

I was trying to figure out "my mistake" with a door jamb switch and I was looking for the horn relay since it is on the same circuit / fuse as the door jamb switch / dome light.

I could not find anything on the driver's side wiring that looked like one.

Is it in the driver's side headlight "bucket? (the t/a only has the "single horn" driver's side horn -- not the "deluxe" two horn setup.)

thanks

It's well hidden and typically inaccessible except to mice and rats.

Up above the ignition switch behind the instrument panel. Right there with it's companion nss relay if ya gotta tf 727. An identical relay is incorporated in the nss system fro the tranny. I know ya don't have a 727, so you should see only a single relay, silver cannister with amounting tab.

Bitch to git to though.

The same p/n relay is used for both nss/tranny and the horn circuit. Ez snake at the local parts house, shit even autozoo will have that.

Then, I am glad it is still working....

When I am further inspired to lay on my back on the floor, I will try to see if I can "see" it. I cannot see much, the clutch pedal keeps me from sticking my head in too far.

The t/a instrument panel wiring is a pita.:mad5:

every 10 years or so, I take the dash pad out and I try to find the burnt out light bulb for the radio dial.. No success yet....
