Home again

Finally brought the kb5 home so I could work on it. It has been stored off-site for too long. The floor board rust hole is much larger than I remember, but nothing that can't be fixed. This rig has a very complete green diamond under the hood; the only thing I can see missing is the rotor out of the distributor. The bed is massive and is a dump bed as well. The hydro system looks to be a self contained unit; pump integral with the cylinder driven off the tranny pto. I'll get some more pics up when it thaws out around here.

I know it's a big relief to git that chore done!

Playin' with these rigs adds another dimension to the IHSTO family! And based on the amount of email and contacts I get about this older stuff, it appears that the special interest market has really hit on this stuff now even in the midst of this crap economy. Seems way too many are being turned into ratrods and will end up being unfinished "projects" turning up on cl and egay.

Lyle,

here's a picture of the next build... Just have to get a donor f350 dually with a IH powerstroke motor. This just sold on e-bay for $15,000. Seeing a lot of these in CA of $500 or less....get's a guys brain working overtime on how to fund all of these ideas.
