With the exception of the work I do for my own vehicles/projects and a very few close friends/associates...all my carburetor and ignition system work routes through IH Parts America (and on occasion through IH only and Isa's International).
Jeff at ihon (or whoever answers the phone, 530-268-0864!!) will provide ya with the details, costs, ship-to info, contact info, etc. I have an exclusive arrangement with ihon which includes many other business-related activities regarding the big picture around here! Once the customer's service order is completed, then the completed systems are drop-shipped back to the customer from my end. If any cores are involved, those are then returned directly to me and Jeff handles the core reimbursement. And cores are the centerpiece of how we can keep this stuff alive at a reasonable cost to our customers.
All work that is performed under the ihon banner is fully backed by both myself and ihon and you will be satisfied with the results. We don't simply take orders and ship parts,...what you do receive around here is total customer service including technical support for as long as ya play in this arena! I think you May have already seen some of that if you've spent some time cruising the various sub-forums we have here!
Interest in our carburetor and ignition-related services has exploded in the last several months,...we're working right now on a new, simplified methodology of pricing for both reconditioning services and sales of reconditioned product outright and May be able to offer the services in an "automated" fashion through the online store in the future. But due to the very diverse offerings of these products just in regard to ihc-produced vehicles, I nearly always must have personal contact directly with our customers so that we are always on the same page.
This is not a "one-size" kinda deal like you May encounter with some other specialty vehicle parts vendors. And our focus is to always consider what the most effective spending of the customer's dollars will gain...so we nearly always can offer suggestions if we have personal contact with our customers, this is the type service that simply cannot be performed solely through email or online sourcing.
