Hfi fuel dumping out of throttle body

Installed the HfI system and I thought I had everything set properly turns out there’s no fuel while the engine cranks over.

Trouble shooting in the manual wants me to check the voltage to the pink wire on the injector plug while key is on. So I disconnected the injector then turn the key to the on position. Fuel started dumping out on the back of the throttle body right behind the injectors. It almost looks like one of the injectors housing and I can see a spring in there.I’m assuming it’s a pressure release or something?

disconnected the battery and computer for a few minutes, reconnected them and reconnected the injector and there is still fuel dumping out of the same area?

anyone know what’s going on?

I was able to get in touch with Bill.

What seemed to have happen was an old vented gas cap that no longer vented at the proper psi caused the tank/fuel system to build pressure and rupture the diaphragm in the throttle body. Replaced the diaphragm and gas cap and all seems well!
