Help with tie rod installation

Hi all, soon I will need to place an order for the CPT Hydro Boost Kit, master cylinder, brake proportioning valve for disc/drum and steering box reinforcement plate with grade 8 bolts. I'm going to send my steering gear box out locally for a rebuild. Will the stock steering box work with the Hydro Boost set up? I will not be running assisted steering as the Scout will only have 33" tires.

Also is there a trick to installing the tie rod to the knuckles with the chassis not having the additional weight of the engine to compress the leaf springs? Right now, the chassis is still on jack stands. Would this be an easier task once I have tires back on the ground where the suspension will now be supporting the weight of the chassis rather than having the suspension hanging? Thank you for any and all advise.

Yes the stock steering box will still work with hydroboost. Without caster shims and the suspension under load, it can be difficult if not impossible to install the tierod. You will probably have to loosen the ubolts and push the axle away from the springs to get the tierod snuck in there.
