Help With Ignitor

Can I get help with wiring a ignitor in? First time started up and ran great, took quiet a few turns to fire up. Now wont fire up and cole was hot. Not sure if I hooked up wrong. Thanks for the help.

The wiring for the pertronix can't be any simpler!

The red wire goes to the positive coil terminal. The black wire goes to the negative terminal.

Are you certain that you installed a pertronix ho-181 model for a gold box distributor? Did you use the specific vehicle harness wiring instructions included in that package?

Yea it is a 181, do I need to splice in the red and brown wire it talks about or hook them up to coil? Wires from ignitor were already crimped with eyelet's, the instructions were sayin to tie
into the red and brown. I'm guesing I put both sets to coil is this right? Thank you for your response and help mm. Ken

Verify the wiring contained here versus what you have done so far.
