Gettin another Scout deux the 1st. Building a nice wheeler out of three scouts that I have. Gonna use parts from the new one for the engine/transmission. Hocking the chasis off on my comrade ellie so she can start her builder project as well. She'll use the frame and Dana 44's for an 80/800 build. Meanwhile I'll use the 196/t19 combo for my pumpkin. Plan is to continue to alter the 196's reputatuion as a dog. Similar to what I do with the vt365.

Parts from the traveler and leftovers from this Scout II May become available if anyone needs something that doesnt get used such as doors off my pumpkin/traveler. Toppers, brake boosters, radiators. Yada yada yada.

Hopefully its an easy trip for me and nets me a small profit in the long run.

Engine runs. Vehicle drives. Has elec ignition. All the goodies I suppose. Bit more than the usual Scout rust

Brought her home. Oddly enough the man I bought it from worked at ft wayne building these scouts. Even worked across from coonrod.

He gave me the original title. Purchased directly from the factory.

Runs. Drives....ish. And has bad gas. I smell like varnished crap
 
So I threw some new shoes on the rear so I could take her on her maiden voyage. It did well. Was talking to ellie on here and I think I discribed it as an anemic electric wheelchair with cinderblocks for tires. But it did indeed make it around the block. So atta boy to the Scout with 20 year old gas

Well there ya go. The gent I brought this from gave me the original ft wayne indiana title. Ihc credit union. Theres one for the books

Also. Dont think my dog is overly impressed. Shes says "you brought another one home? Cant you just buy chew toys. They take up less room?"
 
That Scout already looks allot better being at home with the rest off the family:) cool paper work on her that's worth allot to have in my opinion. We all know its bad when the dog starts getting jealous off growing IH collection hahaha
 
I just keep getting more jealous! Thats what I want my next IH to be a 4x4 d series or a Scout to make a trail rig out off! Youl need covered parking for the whole family here soon:) you know if you run across any b series you better tell me first right hahaha I want first dibs. Lucky finds man, allot of ihs around here are in pieces already:( I was to late to save allot

Man that thing looks cleaner then my 65 c10 Chevy! I would take it in a heart beat if I could just win the lottery!:frown2: hahah split it right down the middle and then you get the better half lol:) that's crazy its sitting there id be driving that sucker everywhere if I had it in my yard! We need money trees for IH founds!
 
Hey mtnscout. Sorry I missed your post buddy. You can absolutely have that psp mount, you dont even need to ask. You know that.

I should pull the engine next week sometime so just pm me with your adress and ill ship it to you :thumbsup:

Been busy tearing schnit down and using this as a drift truck. Not intentionally. But she gets really loose going around corners with no weight over the ass
