Fuel System Question

I have an 75 scout with an LS swap and recently replaced the fuel tank with the new CPT 25 gallon fuel tank.

I am getting some fuel smell coming from the Liquid Fuel Seperator. Because it looks like the vacuum line for the fumes is just gone.

Before I try and fix it with the fuel tank built for the LS and the Vortec under the hood can I get rid of the fuel vapor separator? If so anything I need to be careful about?

You can get rid of the fuel vapor recovery chamber, however you might make the fuel smell worst after driving the Scout. We install charcoal canisters in conjunction with the vapor recovery chamber in most of our LS builds and do not have this problem, including builds with our 25 gallon CPT fueltank.
