Front factory sway bar and shackles for a 72 Scout

My recently aquired Scout is missing them, was wondering why it rolled so much. Any one have a set, or seen a Scout in any of the bay area bone yards recently that probably has them? Thanks.

I've got some if you can't find them locally. I'm in maryland and will ship on your dime. I can even blast and prime them if you want?

Both my 72 scouts don't have them. But my 74 did a lot of rolling around until I did the shackle reversal kit install and then a SOA with new shocks.

A few months back, I did a shackle reversal install for a guy from san fran. That had the bar that originally attached the front stock shackles together. He didn't need them anymore after the reversal install. Not sure if he still has them or not. I can try to find out if need be

I have the bar and I think I have the bolts also, but not the shackles. Free if you want to make a trip to rohnert park.
That Scout looks familiar. Was it recently on craigslist?

Yep it was on craigs list fairly recently. Those are the wheels off my 75 in the picture though. Thinking about changing the 3:54s in my 75 to 3:92s. Swapping the little 27 inch tires from the 72 with the 32 inch tires from the 75 pretty much simulates changing the gears. Problem was the 72 has drums up front, so the 72 wheels wouldn't fit up front on the 75 with discs. Had to run it around the block a couple of times with the little skinny 27 inch wheels on the back and the big fat 32 inchers on the front - boy was that ugly. Keeping the 72 as stock as practical - no spring over there. Should have a bar and shackles on the way by the end of the week.
