New to the forum, apologies if this is stale.
Just discovered that a Scout 2 front disc setup will bleed
using vacuum _without_ pressing the little bleed button
on the combination valve. It's clearly contrary to the factory
manual and suggests something's wrong, but the brakes
seem to work fairly well, at least for a Scout
the rig is a `72 upgraded to 3.07 Dana 44's with front
discs. Don't know much about the exact axles used, they
were a used swap installed by anything Scout back in '02.
Any guidance appreciated, I can't make sense of the bleed
valve. The manual says to push with 25-38 pounds force,
the stem seems not to budge. Pulling makes it move, but
that's not in the program.
