Hello to all,I have kinda strange request. I am doing a frame off restore,and was wondering if all the scoutii 4x4 frames were the same thru its years. Why I ask is im sending my rolling chassis to have some work done and have a stripped frame. The plan is to set my body on this frame to do some body work I.e (body mount work rear only and basic structure welding)while the other is away ,was wondering if all the mount were the same as far as shape of the frame itself and mount up. More info rolling frame is a 77 4wd auto with v-8,stripped frame is 72 4wd auto v-8.any info would help alot.thanks

Other than slight factory variances, and some differences in bump-stop brackets, yes they should be the same.
When you get your original body and frame back take the time to shim the body mounts to get the best alignment you can for the doors and body panels. You'll probably be thankful in the long run.
