experienced opinions wanted 73 scout build

I'm in the planning stages of starting the resurrection of a '73 Scout. My Dad bought the Scout in '75. I recently purchased it from him. Current condition is 392cu std bore, snyder cam 4 bbl motor. 4 speed Dana 44's and front disc brakes. The Scout has been sitting for 10 years. Its been in nm and az its whole life, dry rotted rubber but minimal rust. I'm going to lay out my ideas for how to proceed and welcome constructive criticism, especially from those that have been there and done that.
The reason for the opinions is that I'm wanting to do this in two stages. 1st stage is to get it operable and trail ready. I will never be a rock crawler but hunt and camp in areas with severe wheeling trails. Stage 2 would be SOA 35in tires and fuel injection 2-3 years away.
1st stage
1. 4 lift, blistein shocks extended shackles (5 inch)
body mount cushions, (1inch body lift if needed?)
borgenson steering shaft, 33 gal tank,
33x1050 tires (what wheels) can I run 33x1250
rs (will the rs upgrade remain the same if I go to SOA in the future) if I include the driveline upgrade in the rs kit is this driveline going to work when I SOA?
I guess my main concern is since I'm wanting to eventually do a SOA how much of my 1 stage is going to be thrown out when I do the SOA. The reason for the delaying the SOA is cost and time. While I already have the Dana 60 (IH pickup axle) and a Chevy top steer 44 for the SOA I don't have the luxury of time or $$ to farm it out. I welcom your input.

Going SOA will gain roughly 5" of lift alone without changing anything else. I would bite the bullet now and go SOA first. Take a look at my 73 beast build thread. It currently sits on 35" shoes and SOA with what appears to be 2" lift springs.

You could to shackle reversal before or after the SOA. But if you can swing it, do them both at the same time.

More later.
