Electronic module failure?

Have a 79 Scout 2 with prestolite dist. Ran fine until I left the ignition on and ran down the battery. Not getting spark after charging. Did I fry the electronic module?

I can't say I've come across one that failed from switch "on", but here's a test I sourced from a tech sheet, it's in post #2:

Thanks. Looks like it has a pertronix replacement now. Went to their site, and they state that leaving ignition on can cause failure. Think I just cost myself $125.00.

Damn that hurtz!

I don't have one, but the pii has a timing deal that shuts itself off if left with key on and no running engine.
