Does anyone know what size the bolts are that hold the Dana 20 to t/f 727? In the jumble of crap ive accumulated swapping in and out stuff ive lost track of the originals, they are probably burried in a coffee can full of old bolts. I would like to replace them with new anyways.

Grade 8, 3/8"-16, 1.5" in length.

Be sure to use a proper gasket (1/32" paper) between the tailhousing and the transfer case, do not use rtv,...please!!

If you need a gasket, I make those, mine fit better than the ones found in the typical overhaul gasket kits. I can include one in the box that will be headed your way soon with your carb and distributor.

Mr. Mayben,
thanks for the info, I think I already have a gasket, I purchased one off the iho website a few weeks back. Is it okay to use a tiny bit of aviation grade liquid gasket around the bolt holes just to hold the gasket in place while I mount the transfer case up? The transmission is already installed in the vehicle and ill probably being doing this solo with a transmission jack as my only help.
