E Brake & Pedal Help

Hello fellow International truckers. I will try and best explain my issue here. When I release the emergency brake, its not quite coming up all the way and hitting the sensor where you see the light bulb. This means even though its disengaged the bulb flashes non stop and its annoying as can be while driving. You sort of have to jimmy the pedal towards me not the floor for it to engage the contact to stop flashing the bulb. Has anyone experienced this issue, and any ideas how to stop it? I looked at it a second time and maybe I m thinking that silver screw can come loose and the entire braket pedal can move justa hair, but then i worry about the cable being extended too far or too little for it to engage the brake. I have parking pawl issues with my trans, so the E brake is all I have at the moment.

Second issue is the brake pedal. Where can i find a new one or used that isnt cracked.

1967 1200 B model.

The parking brake pedal assembly can be removed from the kick panel, cleaned, lubed and reinstalled.
Then the warning light function can be adjusted to function correctly.

The cable adjustment for parking brake effectiveness is adjusted underneath the truck and is easily accessed.

Don't know for sure of the source of the pedal PAD, but did you check the sales site at IHPA?
It may be a generic item, look around and see.
