DUI distributor install/ plumbing

Hi everyone, I’m going to buy the dui distributor but I was just wondering what I needed to do/prepare for before buying it. I’ve attached a few pictures of what I’m working with. It’s a 1966 pickup with the 304. Also, I was wondering if everything was pretty much plumbed correctly. Another user has said that he thought the vacuum advance wasn’t going to the place it should be. Thanks all!!

I would clean up the wiring, get that battery cable routed properly and perform a basic tuneup. You have the more desirable water neck on the thermostat housing that works well with the DUI. Will make a nice performance improvement when installed.

FYI, I have installed the DUI on my truck and it fits with the other two styles of water outlet housings easily.

Also, your vacuum advance question was previously answered on your Carb thread.
