DUI Coil Replacement

I burnt up my coil on my diu distributor(345-v8)....looks like some fluid got in to the distributor when my hoopty overheated and fried the coil. Is there an over the counter replacement for the dui coil available from napa or oreilly's or do I need to get a replacement directly from performance distributors? Purchased my dui from the good folks at IH Parts America and am extremely happy with it!

I picked up one of these in the meantime so I can get to work, etc....

The coil you bought should be fine for a replacement. I can't answer what the exact differences are between what you bought and what the dui distributors come with but I'm sure a call to performance distributors could answer that.
