Disc/Disc RPV

POPS

Is a residual pressure valve necessary in either the front or rear circuit on a disc/disc setup? I got a used rear disc setup that has a 2# rpv in the rear circuit. I've read conflicting views about this..

I run a 2# on front and rear if disc and 10# on rear if drum. I can't see a drawback unless you have excess draging... Most time when we try and eliminate the rpv you need to pump the pedal once to get the hard pedal...

Thanks Robert. I'll go with 2's on both front and rear and see how she acts.. I appreciate the input.

On a slightly different note, on the disc/disc master cylinder (the one IHPA sells), is the rear port for the front brakes?
