This is a shot of Matt g. Installing a set here at binder university last fall. He did all the work, I just supervised him.
Matt set the install up with a pair of square six harness disconnects so that it can be r&r'd quickly if need be for future service. That eliminates the crap quality harness connectors on the oem dash harness. Some additional panel indicator lamps (led) were also added, necessitating drilling the stainless which can be a bitch for a novice. The protective film was left in place until the final install was wrapped up, then it was peeled off.
The main issue regarding this install, is to "relieve" the steering column down brace on both sides to allow sufficient clearance for the speedo and tach to push back into the space behind the dash. That should be done with a giz wheel or sawzall before performing the trial mount/fit of the new assembly.
