dana 44 axles

Does any one know if the hubs out of a Dana 44 out of a International Scout 2 pickup and a Ford Dana 44 will interchange? The purpose of this is doing away with the lock outs... I have an International Scout 44 axle under a samurai and the bolts keep breaking off in the hub with a drive flange or lockouts..... I would love to find a solution to this! And yes I am using the strongest bolts I can find lawson tuff torqe grande 8!

Fords 'usually' run internal hubs so they won't work at all on the Scout style external locking hubs.


But you can convert the whole thing to internal hubs and keep your 5x5.5 bolt pattern by using Chevy brake parts, Ford rotors and hubs...
