Dana 300 bolt in?

Will a Dana 300 bolt on my '73 sii with a 727, or do I need to be worried about the correct bull gear? If I needed to obtain a bull gear, are these still available? The '73 is stock with a d20 tc with the exception of a d44 front axle being installed. Thanks.

Yes you have to have the correct bull gear, they are different from the Dana 20 gear. No they are not made any longer. You have to find a used one. That is no easy task.
