Dana 30 with dana 44 stuff

I've searched for the past few days for the info I need and have yet to find anything, so I'm letting my pride go an finaly gonna ask. I have a 72 Scout II with a Dana 30 my Dad have a 76 gmc jimmy with a Dana 44 with flat top knuckles and disk brakes. I'm wanting to swap the knuckles and everything to the Scout. I need to know if I can just take the whole thing(knuckle, spindle, axle stub, etc.) and put it on the Dana 30. I don't care to keep the Scout hub and everything. I'm mainly doing this cause the Scout is the only 5 lug vehicle I've owned and I have multiple sets of 6 lug wheels and tires that will fit on the blazer and my old toyota and plus the flat top knuckles will come in handy when I finaly get around to doing the SOA. I would love to just take the axles from the blazer and just put in the Scout but for some reason my Dad won't let me even tho it's been sitting there since I was about 9(broke stuff in the transfer case.) and he won't ever mess with it.

Why not use the complete d-44. The jimmies axle is already setup for SOA. Grind off welds of the c's, shorten both tubes to match Scout width, and then re-weld the c's back on with proper degrees set in place for caster. Do a search for cut and turn on axles. Lots of good info on the subject

that way you will have 44's front and rear. Be more stout than the d-30 axle.

Well the problem with that before was that when ever I asked my Dad before he said no but I asked him shortly after I made this post again and he said I could swap out the axles and to be honest I'd rather keep them full width instead of making them narrow I like the look of full width axles on a Scout. Well this is no longer needed so I'm sorry for wasting anyone's ine
