Dana 30 Disk to Dana 44

My Scout II came to me with a d30 and disks, the rotors pads, and calipers they look like stock stuff.

I want to upgrade to a Dana 44, but would hate to loose all that brand new hardware (83 miles on it)

should it be a direct swap over?

Yes.

Just change the housing, swap all the brake stuff (and knuckles if you want) over to your new housing.

You'll need the d44 inner and outer shafts however, housing, gears and some time :d
