dana 27 inner grease seals?

I just purchased a 63 Scout 80 with a powr lok Dana 27 rear end. I noticed a small leak on the drivers side axle near the drum so I took it apart and found the grease seal to be the cause. When I ordered the new grease seals at the local parts house, I received inner and outer seals. I removed the powr lok differential and realized either I had no inner seals or the axle didn't require them. I didn't see anywhere in my cts2302 or my mt113 manuals a diagram listing the inner grease seal. This is my first Scout so any input would be much appreciated.

I will make a stab at this. According to an International fleet service news letter published on July 8th 1969 (slf69-26)
they announced a new ra-18 and ra-28 rear axles for Scout 800a 4x2 and 4x4 models.
The new models used a new bearing assembly and an axle shaft inboard oil seal along with an axle shaft outboard seal and a one piece axle shaft. The service manual was kind of vague on certain items as you have found out. If you could find an old parts manual this might help also.
