Dana 20 swap for a Dana 300

I have a 1979 Scout II with a stock Dana 20 transfer case. I am thinking about swapping it for a Dana 300. What would it take to complete the swap?

A Scout II-pattern d300 is what it would take. Fairly difficult to find as they were only used towards the end of sii production.

Are we talkin' automatic trans or manual trans??
